베스트앨범리스너-소인배 인가요??

한 가수의 음악을 알기 위해서 주로 베스트앨범을 듣는 편인데요
이게 사람들 사랑을 받는곡들 모음집이라 착착 끌리긴 한데 뭔가
이건아니다 하는 생각이 들더라구요.

저번 스티비원더 베스트앨범의 The Very Best Of라는 출처불분명
의 앨범을 프루나에서 구했습니다만 몇 곡 빠진 것 같아서 좀 갈
등되네요.

진정 이 가수에 대해 알고 싶다!
는 아니고요
이 가수/그룹의 곡의 간략한 느낌 정도만 알고 싶다 할때 베스트
앨범은 괜찮을까요?

머그냥라디오에서Creep한곡듣고라디오헤드에대해서아는간지따위나펼치면서자위하라고?

나쁠 것이야 없는데
정규앨범에서만 느낄수 있는 좋은 곡이 빠진 경우가 있다거나
컨셉 앨범의 싱글을 모아서 베스트로 발표하거나 (Pink Floyd가 아주 좋은 예)의 경우는 베스트를 사는 것이 아깝지요. 미발표 버전이라던가 신곡이 들어있다면 썩 괜찮습니다. (Motley Crue의 최근 베스트처럼)

음. 저도 쪼랩이지만 그냥 제 생각엔요
가수가 베스트 앨범을 내기 위해여 내는 경우와
또 소속사에서 한번 더 팔아보자 라고 내는 경우가 천차만별인거 같아요.
물론 앨범을 다 들어보는게 당근 좋겠지만,
가수가 직접 곡을 고르고, 또 편곡을 달리한 곡이 있거나
한두곡씩 새로운 수록곡이 있는 경우 그 앨범 자체도
하나의 작품으로 봐도 좋지 않을까요?
